Brie’s pick: Harry Styles gets Phil shirtless with one hand.
Oh Harry Styles, how I love you. It’s tradition for the boys to sing Happy Birthday to someone in the crowd or crew at their shows. At the boys’ last concert in Dubai, they brought Phil, one of their crew members, on stage because it was his birthday. First of all, Phil is smoking hot. Where have they been hiding him? But second of all, Harry turns the birthday song into an auction. As he announces bids on Phil [throws my money on stage], he begins to undress Phil with one hand, to the point that Phil’s shirt just get ripped off his body and his glorious abs are on display. That boy has some SKILLS; he unbuttoned Phil’s shirt with his non-dominant hand in 2 seconds flat. Also, [coughs] Phil, if you’re single, call me.
I’ll be honest, I was totally impressed with Harry unbuttoning his shirt with his left hand that quickly. He must have put in some serious practice time. Ahem. Just saying. I need to find out what Phil does though because he is hot as burning and I have no clue why we’ve never seen him before. Phiiiiiiiiil, come to me!
So…this video was beyond curiously arousing. Does Phil remind anyone else of J.R. Bourne? Just me? *ahem* Anyway, Harry Styles has some serious skills at undressing. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t unbutton my own shirt with one hand, let alone someone else’s. So, um, kudos on your getting other people naked skills, Harry Styles. I hope this has served you well. *hits replay*

I saw gifs of this on tumblr and before I read any other commentary my first thought was “Harry you are WAY too proficient at that to have not done it before.” ICU CURLY.
I’ve always heard about how great it is to get your hair done at a blow dry bar but I never knew how awesome until last night. I’m currently out of town for work and I needed a little confidence booster because my hair has been unmanageable lately and thought I’d try it out. Sure enough, I ended up with some gorgeous, bouncy curls that I fell in love with. I’m too spoiled now and I think I need a permanent hairstylist. Any takers? Long story short: treat yourself, you deserve it.
Yes please someone come do my hair for me daily. Actually, this is partly why I have braids because I just cannot deal with it anymore. The curls look SO pretty! I am proficient with a curling iron but a blow dryer??? Nah, I’ve never had good skills with that.
Oh wow, Elle! Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous! My hair sort of curls naturally, and I’ve never been able to make it look, well, good. So I just finger comb it and let it do what it wants. But, wow, the pros really know what they’re doing!
GORGEOUS! I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of any kind of beauty bar. Here we have one where it’s a literally a bar where you get haircuts. I imagine other places are more because you order a range of services and less because of alcohol. Unless there’s alcohol? There should always be alcohol when you get a haircut. Except you’d need a cup with a cover on it so your drink doesn’t get hair in it. What were we talking about again?
I’ve never quite understood the concept of this. You just go and have your hair blown dry? I don’t think I have enough hair for this to be worthwhile but I’d definitely give it a shot! I know people who swear by these places. And Elle’s hair looks amazing, so there ya go. Putting it on my list of things to try this summer.
Heidi’s pick: New Desaparecidos album!
NEW DESAPARECIDOS ALBUM IN JUNE. NEW DESAPARECIDOS ALBUM IN JUNE. Need I say more? Okay, I probably need to say more. Once upon a time in the year 2002, this fantastic album came out from this band in Oklahoma called Desaparecidos titled Read Music/Speak Spanish. Their sound is sort of post-hardcore, and their lyrics are political (like any good punk band). They didn’t make anymore music after that because their lead vocalist, Conor Oberst, got successful with other projects, namely Bright Eyes. But they released a few singles in 2012 and 2013, and they released the above track, “City on the Hill,” earlier this week and announced a release date for a full album on June 23!!!! So even though it’s been 13 years, some good things are just worth the wait.
At first I was like, who is this band? Then I saw Conor Oberst and I was like “ohhhhhh!” Wow, 13 years is a long time to wait for new music. I would probably be fall down excitable if I were a fan of theirs! This is awesome. I’m glad to see Conor making music and I’ll have to check out this new album!
Wow! 13 years? That is so long! I think it is totally worth the wait though for a band you love. I don’t believe I’ve heard much of them, but I have heard Bright Eyes and liked it. Enjoy, H!

I had no idea this was coming out! This is really exciting. I love them a lot but I’m so bad at keeping up with current stuff. It’s absolutely crazy to me that it’s been 13 years since they’ve released an album. Like, how old are WE? hahahahahahaha I may need a walker to dance now but hey, at least I still dance. Poorly and at inappropriate times but hey, life is short. Hooray for new music!
This coming week the fifth episode of iZombie will air, and it will have a very special new guest star: Bradley James. If this isn’t amazing enough – I mean, it has been TOO LONG since this face has been on my screen – he will be in four or five episodes. REGULAR BRADLEY JAMES. Even with brown hair, looking at him is like looking at the sun. Seriously. Look at this promo picture. His cheekbones are kicking right off in this shot. I need to lie down. How am I going to handle this? If the out of context clip from the leaked episode isn’t part of some weird fake-out, Bradley’s character Lowell is a gay zombie. Which means we may get to see him flirt with Ravi. OKAY YUP IT’S NAP TIME
I AM SO AMPED! I actually need to finish watching this week’s iZombie because i got tired in the middle of it and went to bed. It’s weird to see him with brown hair. And…not in clothes from the Medieval era. I can’t wait to see what his character brings to the show!
Bradley! I see him and get all flaily. Wait a minute though. Waaait. He is going to be a gay zombie? Well, I may need to check this out. I miss seeing his face all over my screen and on my TL though my people do their best to keep posting about him. I’m really happy he is getting another good role even if it is only 4 episodes. I’m ready to watch him flirt with a man, though let’s be real we saw years of that with “he’s only tiny” Colin.
I JUST finished watching this week’s iZombie and saw the preview for next week’s, and I am so super excited about having Bradley James on my TV again!!! I’m already in love with this show. Liv is just like a zombie!Veronica Mars and Ravi the forensic pathologist is awesome, and the rest of the characters are starting to take shape. Hulu accidently put up an unaired episode, and it happened to be one of the ones that Bradley is in, and some kind Tumblr user got screencaps. AND AJSDF:LJSK! I just can’t wait.
BRADLEY. He makes me so happy. So, so happy. I really love iZombie and I’m having a hard time believing that Bradley James is actually going to be back on tv and on a show that I enjoy. And not only that, but he’s playing a gay zombie? BRING IT. He also seems really excited about the show and appears to be close to the cast too, which makes it even better. Good things are happening, my friends. Good things.
I started watching Game of Thrones over President’s Day weekend (don’t ask me how I even remember that) with the intention of being caught up before the new season started. What I did not plan on was going insane and watching all four seasons in like two weeks. I honestly don’t know what else I expected – this is coming from the person who watched eight seasons of Supernatural in less than two months. ANYWAY. Game of Thrones. It really is as good as everyone says it is. There are WOLVES and DRAGONS and ROBB STARK. Uh. Well. Yeah. So I mainlined all four seasons and I am so freaking excited for season five. It’s not really the type of show that you can watch over and over and I miss it a lot. Watching it week to week is going to be a STRUGGLE but I think I’m up for it. Maybe. Probably not. Someone hold me.
HOLY CRAP THAT IS THIS WEEKEND? Where have I been????? Watching a bunch of other tv apparently. I need to read some recaps from last season to remember where we left off. But now I’m super pumped for Sunday! I haven’t had a show to watch on Sundays in awhile.
I’m not entirely sure how I still have not seen Game of Thrones but I haven’t. How?! It is always all over my TL yet I’ve never watched it. It seems so damn intense all the time and that is just a lot to handle right now. Maybe someday I’ll marathon all the seasons and get locked into another fandom I truly need no part of.
George R. R. Martin and I are still in a fight. We’ve been in a fight since ~2010. He doesn’t know this, but we are. So I’m very happy for all the GOT fans out there that they have a new season coming out. I’ll be fuming in the corner over A Dance with Dragons if you need me. 
Damn, here I thought I had all this time to get caught up. I think I’ve been stuck halfway through the second season for like a year and a half or something ridiculous. Probably since that damn season came out. ONE OF THESE DAYS GAME OF THRONES.
